John Keells Holdings (JKH) has bought more than 24% in Softlogic Group owned Central Hospital (Asha Central), according to company sources.

They said this deal has gone through for Rs 900 million.

The Business Times last Sunday reported that minor stake in the new Central Hospital is likely to be sold to a blue chip company and that blue-chip, JKH was an interested party.

The Asiri Hospitals Group currently owns three hospitals – Asiri Surgical, Asiri Hospital and Asiri Central – and the new one, is the largest private sector hospital chain in the country.
